1. Reason for revision

 Since the Road Traffic Act has been revised to clarify the legal basis for issuing mobile driver's licenses and providing driver's license verification services (Law No. 20155, promulgated on 2024.01.30, implemented on 2024.07.31), amendments are proposed to reorganize provisions related to the application for and issuance of mobile driver's licenses and to insert provisions and related forms for the application for the provision of driver's license verification services.

2. Main contents

 . a. The provisions related to the application for and issuance of mobile driver's licenses are to be reorganized (Article 77 and 78-2 of the Draft). 

 . b. Provisions and forms are newly inserted for applying for the provision of the driver's license verification service (Article 78-3, Appendix 59-2 and Form 59-3 of the Draft).
