1. Reason for Enactment

In accordance with the revision of the Culture and Arts Promotion Act and the Enforcement Decree of the Culture and Arts Promotion Act (enforced on December 21, 2023), the proposed revision specifies the details regarding regular performances and exhibitions by artists with disabilities at public and national cultural facilities, such as the method of calculating the creative contribution rate and the participation rate of artists with disabilities as delegated according to Article 23 (4) of the Enforcement Decree of the same Act. 

2. Main Contents

a. The revision stipulates provisions on the method of calculating the creative contribution rate and the participation rate of artists with disabilities (Article 3 and Article 4 of the draft).

b. The revision stipulates provisions on the basis for submitting data and disclosing the performance records for the management of regular performances and exhibitions by artists with disabilities in public and national cultural facilities (Article 5 and Article 6 of the draft).
