2. Reason for proposal
To ensure that persons with disabilities, senior citizens, pregnant women, etc. (hereinafter referred to as "persons with disabilities, etc.") can use small-scale public convenience facilities (Class 1 and Class 2 neighborhood living facilities) conveniently and safely in their everyday life, the proposed revision aims to expand the scope of the target buildings or locations where convenience facilities should be installed for persons with disabilities, etc. by deleting the area-based criteria for convenience facilities, and expanding (adding) the uses of buildings subject to the installation of convenience facilities need to be installed.
3. Main contents
Deleting the area-based criteria for convenience facilities for persons with disabilities and expanding the uses of buildings (Table 1 and Table 2 of the Draft).
1) Deleting the area-based criteria
- Class 1 neighborhood living facilities: medical clinics, dental clinics, oriental medicine clinics, midwifery maternity clinics, postpartum care centers (100m2→0), community children's centers (300m2→0).
- Class 2 neighborhood living facilities: performance halls (300m2→0), massage parlors (500m2→0).
2) Expanding (adding) the uses of buildings
- Class 1 neighborhood living facilities: fire stations, broadcasting stations, acupuncture clinics, osteopathy centers.
- Class 2 neighborhood living facilities: funeral parlors, veterinary clinics, pet grooming salons, pet animal care centers, private institutions, tutoring centers, vocational training centers, study rooms, baduk (go) centers.
