1. Reason for Revision
The revision aims to remove the regulations for the occasional revocation of designations of autonomous private high schools due to accounting fraud and other issues. It introduces a 5-year designation period and the extension of the designation based on the results of school operation evaluations, ensuring that matters related to the designation and operation of autonomous private high schools are regulated within the scope of the law's delegation.
2. Main Content
a. Removal of the provision for occasional revocation of the designation of autonomous private high schools, and introduction of a regulation for the designation period of autonomous private high schools and extension based on school operation performance evaluations (Amendment of Article 91-3, Paragraph 6).
b. Introduction of a provision for the revocation of the designation of autonomous private high schools upon application (New Article 91-3, Paragraph 7).
c. Revision of administrative provisions regarding the Minister of Education's consent, deliberations by the special-purpose high school designation committee, and other administrative matters related to the termination or revocation of the designation of autonomous private high schools (Amendment of Article 91-3, Paragraphs 8-12, Article 105-3, Paragraph 1, and Article 105-7).
