[Background]
1. Enacting, by Notice, the requirements for Senior-Friendly Enterprises/Institutions which were delegated to the Notice under the Enforcement Rule of the Act on Support for Senior Citizen Jobs and Social Activities, which was established in 2024.
Due to the expansion in the scale of senior jobs (513,000 jobs in '18 $\to$ 1,098,000 jobs in '25), the Act on Support for Senior Citizen Jobs and Social Activities, etc., was enacted.
Article 8, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 3, Item B, Clause 5 of the Enforcement Rule of the Act on Support for Senior Citizen Jobs and Social Activities delegates the requirements for Senior-Friendly Enterprises/Institutions to the Notice.
[Main Points]
Prescribing the requirements for Senior-Friendly Enterprises/Institutions that are to be determined and publicly notified by the Minister of Health and Welfare.
(Fulfillment of Performance Capability) Annual sales revenue of 300 million KRW or more in the previous year.
(Eligibility for Subsidy Projects) Must not be subject to exclusion from performing central government subsidy projects, nor subject to exclusion from performing local government subsidy projects.
(Restriction on Overlapping Support) Must not be receiving identical or similar support from other central administrative agencies or local governments.
