Reasons for Proposal
The current Act prescribes that, when constructing a building, a project supervisor shall be designated, and the project supervisor shall submit an interim supervision report during the construction progress and a report on completion of supervision when construction is completed to the project owner, and the project owner shall submit the interim supervision report and the report on completion of supervision to the permitting authority when applying for approval for use of the building.
Due to the fact that an entity for submission of an interim supervision report is limited to the project owner before approval for use of the building is granted, when a construction participant is changed during construction, monetary transactions using an interim supervision report as a medium, etc., occur, such that there are public inconvenience and burden.
Therefore, this proposal aims to prescribe that when a project owner receives an interim supervision report from a project supervisor, he/she shall immediately register the report in the building administration computerization system, thereby reducing public inconvenience and burden related to interim supervision reports (Article 25 (6)).
