Jeju province signed an MOU on with PHU THAI group, and VTV Cab, Vietnam's television cable, at Jeju government office on April 16 to seek cooperation on entering the Vietnam market and mutual cooperation on the areas of the fourth industrial revolution.

VTV Cab is a subsidiary of Vietnam Television (VTV), the largest national broadcasting company, operating 70 analogue cable channels and 150 SD digital channels, including 30 HD channels.

PHU THAI is Vietnam's largest private distribution company, owning more than 30 affiliates, and has distribution network all over Vietnam.

Jeju province, VTV cab, and PHU THAI, in accordance with the agreement, plan to utilize Jeju's tourism infrastructure in producing contents customized to Vietnam, and carry out local marketing activities in Vietnam.

Also, they will organize support programs and events to help Jeju companies entering the Vietnam market by supporting local marketing and on-and off-line distribution.

In particular, distribution of the products made by Jeju companies will be promoted through "Korea-Vietnam Marketing Support Center" operated by VTV Cab in Vietnam, "Mobile Video Commerce YEOSIM-VTV Cab," and offline stores of PHU TAHI.
