The 7th International Electric Vehicle Expo (IEVE), the world's only expo dedicated to electric vehicle, will be held at International Convention Center (ICC) Jeju from April 29 to May 2, 2020.
On July 26, the 6th IEVE steering committee announced that it had their 3rd meeting at a hotel in Jeju on July 25 and confirmed next year's event schedule.
Scheduled participants for next year's expo include Chairman Ossama Hassanein of Rising Tide, a Silicon Valley-based VC,
a steering committee of 2020 electric-power auto racing series Formula E, and Asia Development Bank (ADB).
During their 3rd meeting, major achievements from the 6th IEVE were shared as well.
The 6th IEVE was held at ICC Jeju for four days, May 8-11, running 58 sessions and 22 conferences.
With an increasing interest in eco-friendly mobility, SMEs in the mobility area took part in exhibition.
In particular, a series of new technologies such as 3D printer ultra small electric vehicle, and 5G autonomous bus were presented.
The number of participating countries reached 51, an all-time high, with the number of B2B consultation increasing to 144, up from 91 last year.
