In hopes of attracting more tourists, Jeju Island revealed its joint-marketing plan on increasing its flight towards Taiwan, partnering with JEJU AIR and Taiwan’s Far Eastern Air Transport.

The local authority invites a group of delegates from the second largest city in Taiwan, Gaoxiong, on Nov. 15 to a four-day fam tour. JEJU AIR also announced its ambitious plan to run promotional campaign both on /off line accompanied by local marketing events to let customers in Taiwan learn more of the newest route connecting two cities.

Other than the advertisement, both Jeju Island and Far Eastern Air Transport runs train station ads in Taiwan which comes to an end this month. The top official responsible for the tourism industry in Jeju says “We’re witnessing a sharp growth, over 90 percent, since we’ve launched the service. We’ll keep working on running this joint-marketing activities with the local airlines.”
