According to Yonhap News,

A project to develop a multi-functional fishing port including the creation of a marina mooring facility Wimi Port, Seogwipo City, Jeju will get started soon.

Jeju-do said on December 20 that the 'Wimi Port Multi-functional Fishing Port Development Project', conducted as a public competition project hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, will be commenced this month.

This project was originally scheduled to start in April, but was postponed to this month due to a supplementary procedure, to reflect the opinions, including safety diagnosis of the Occupational Safety and Health Agency.

'Ocean Frontier', a private investor for Wimi Port Multi-functional Fishing Port Development, plans to spend KRW 29.9 billion in building a marina mooring facility with 75 berths, two clubhouses, and a yacht repair shop in Wimi Port.

The provincial government said it plans to hold an official briefing session for residents when the breakwater construction begins in earnest.

This project was planned when it was selected by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries for the national fishing port project initiated in 2014.

Jeju also signed an MOU with Ocean Frontier, coming forward as a private investor, on a development project in June last year.
