Jeju is to carry out marketing to expand attraction of foreign tourists from potential markets, such as India.

Jeju provincial government and Jeju Tourism Organization (JTO) announced on July 21 that they ran Fam Tour by inviting Indian influencers (a person with great online influence) and media media to Jeju on July 18-20, in collaboration with the New Delhi branch of the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO).

This Fam Tour was realized to promote contents favored by Indian tourists and Jeju's new tourism destinations in line with growing interest in visiting Korea on the back of re-opening of international tourism market and the Korean wave.

This Fam Tour group, made up of those from travel magazines and YouTubers, will promote contents on tourism in Korea including Jeju, in preparation for revitalization of travel in the second half of this year.

The province and JTO also plan to run a Fam Tour by inviting the local travel agencies in India at the end of August.

In addition, they will promote Jeju's unique cultural tourism contents, including Haenyeo and Jeju Olle and bicycle tour products by utilizing local daily newspapers and travel agencies in Singapore, which operates the only regular direct flight from Jeju International Airport.
