According to Yonhap News,

Jeju-do signed a "cooperation agreement to promote the export and sale of clean Jeju seafood" in Hanoi, Vietnam, with the northern Vietnam branch of business networks of overseas Koreans and the Jeju Fisheries Cooperative Federation.

With the agreement in force, the involved parties will join forces to promote the export and sales of clean Jeju seafood to Vietnam and carry out joint marketing promotions.

Following the signing ceremony, the delegation consists of the Jeju government and the Jeju Fisheries Cooperative Federation held Jeju seafood export contract consultations with local buyers in Vietnam.

Starting with this export consultation and the cooperation agreement, the Jeju government plans to push for a support project to connect the Jeju Fisheries Cooperative Federation with local buyers in Vietnam in October.

Jeju Governor said at an event held in Vietnam, "With safe and high quality Jeju seafood, we will push for expansion of exchanges with Vietnam."
