According to Newsis,

Jeju companies have signed an export agreement worth KRW 18 billion won in Taiwan.

On October 23, Jeju Techno Park (Jeju TP) announced that it conducted a "2023 Visiting Business Partnering" in Taiwan with five Jeju companies on October 16-19 and signed an MOU on export worth about USD 13.27 million (about KRW 17.96 billion).

This business partnering was carried out as part of the "2023 Growth Ladder Support Program for Jeju Companies" supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) and Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.

Jeju TP and five Jeju companies including Manje Fishing Association Corporation, Jeju Mami, Kong Xin Cai Agricultural Corporation, Olle Market, and JE:US, conducted business partnering meetings with 16 local buyers in Taiwan to promote high quality Jeju products.

Jeju TP increased the effect of business partnering meeting by discovering customized buyers from the early stage of this meeting through such measures as assigning coordinators for each company and matching local buyers, and personally visiting buyers.

Taiwanese buyers showed high interest in and willingness to import specialties such as soy sauce and tea bags made of Jeju's clean raw materials.

Meanwhile, Jeju TP plans to hold the second business partnering meeting in Los Angeles in November this year to continue its search of new overseas customers and sales channels.
