According to Yonhap News,

Jeju-si will support the development of industrial design and others for free for small and medium-sized enterprises in its jurisdiction.

On January 16, Jeju-si announced that it will support design development for free of SMEs to promote their brands and products to raise customer awareness of SME products and to reduce the financial burden of industrial design development by companies.

Those eligible for support are SMEs that produce and manufacture agricultural and livestock products in the jurisdiction, which produce excellent quality products but relatively have weakness in design development.

The contents of the support are visual design (logo, symbol, brand), product packaging design, etc., and design samples and data will be provided to the companies after reviewing and revising the draft.

Companies that want to apply can visit the small business owners and industrial design development office (☎064-728-2805) of Jeju City.

The city has developed and supported 16 designs for SMEs in the last two years.
