On January 22, Jeju-do announced that its delegation, including Jeju Governor, will visit Tokushima Prefecture on January 24-26 to sign a friendship and cooperation city relationship with Tokushima Prefecture, Japan.
Jeju-do plans to promote exchanges in various fields such as building a hydrogen ecosystem, expanding renewable energy, and sports, culture, tourism, and agriculture with the signing of this relationship.
During this visit to Japan, the delegation will attend the New Year's greeting ceremony of the Jeju Residents' Association in Kwandong, Japan and the Jeju Special Self-Governing Residents' Association in Gwanseo on January 25 and 26.
Jeju-do also established the friendly relationships with Gunma and Okinawa prefectures in Japan last year.
