On February 12, Seogwipo-si announced that it is recruiting 14 teams for the 7th resident companies at Seogwipo Startup Bay, with the application deadline set for February 25th.
Those who are eligible are 39 years old or younger early-stage (or prospective) entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs with expertise in technology, networks, or specialized fields (no age limit). Companies or applicants with an address in Seogwipo-si will receive additional points in the uation.
The office space will be provided free of charge, with independent offices available for 4 companies and shared office spaces (4 people per room) available for 10 companies, depending on the size of the business. Startup Bay will select resident companies through a two-stage process: an initial document review followed by an in-person interview. In addition to office space, selected resident companies will receive various support programs to foster growth and enhance capabilities, including infrastructure for startups, entrepreneurship training for early-stage businesses, expert matching mentoring, and investment capacity-building programs.
