The 12th Jeju International Cruise Forum, a platform for discussing the future of the Asian cruise industry, will be held from July 10 to 12 at the Jeju International Convention Center.

According to Jeju-do on June 12th, the theme of this year’s forum, co-hosted by Jeju-do and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, is "2035 Asia Cruise Vision: Navigating from 9% to 20%".

The event will bring together about 600 participants from 11 countries, including cruise experts, shipping companies, port authorities, and tourism industry representatives. They will discuss sustainable development for cruise tourism, strategies to expand the Asian cruise market, and cooperation methods to elevate Jeju as a global hub.

The Asia Cruise Awards will recognize shipping companies and institutions that have contributed to the development of the Asian cruise industry, awarding special contributions in categories such as cruise ships, home ports, and ports of call.

This year, the forum will also be held alongside an exhibition, expanding its scale. International and coastal cruise lines will be featured in the cruise company hall, while the Jeju hall will introduce key tourist attractions and local government policies. And the national hall will present cruise tourism products from China and Southeast Asian countries.
