According to Yonhap News,

On June 23, the Jeju Creative Economy Innovation Center announced that its incubated company, BellaBellFarm, has signed an exclusive export contract worth USD 300,000 for K-pet food to Taipei.

BellaBellFarm produces high-quality, additive-free pet food based on Jeju's clean raw materials under its natural-based pet healthcare brand, "FromHalla."

The company signed the USD 300,000 (approximately KRW 410 million) export contract with Global Fortune Corporation, which has global logistics capabilities and a strong network in the Taipei market.

BellaBellFarm explained that after participating in the Taipei Pets Show last May, it received requests for purchases through social media and emails.

According to global market research firm Statista, Taipei's pet market surpassed USD 1.2 billion in 2023 and is expected to grow at an average annual rate of 7.3% until 2027.

Taipei is one of the fastest-growing pet markets in Asia. The increasing trend of "pet families," where pets are treated like family members, is driving the demand for premium pet food.

Since starting with an export contract to Thailand last year, BellaBellFarm has expanded into the global market by strengthening its management team with executives from the UK, Australia, and the US. This year, the company hired experts from Taipei and Japan, solidifying its foundation for overseas market expansion.

The company plans to step up marketing investments to continue expanding its exports to Europe and North America.

BellaBellFarm, which was discovered as an incubated company by the Jeju Creative Economy Innovation Center in 2022, has obtained venture company certification and green bio company certification.
