APEC SME Week 2025 to kick off in Jeju-do on Sep. 1
On August 28, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) announced that the "31st APEC Ministerial Meeting on Small and Medium Enterprises" will be held as part of APEC SME Week at the Jeju International Convention Center from September 1 to 5.
Around 5,000 participants, including officials from the 21 APEC member countries and international organizations, will attend the event to discuss cooperation measures for the sustainable growth of SMEs.
The ministerial meeting on September 5th will focus on the theme "SMEs: Drivers of Sustainable and Inclusive Growth."
The meeting will specifically address three key issues: Innovative growth based on new technologies; Sustainable growth through smart policies; Inclusive growth through enhanced connectivity.
