According to Yonhap News,

(Jeju=Yonhap News) Reporter Ko Seong-sik = Jeju Province announced on the 6th that it will create "Jeju Yattreuteu," a marine trail that circumnavigates Jeju Island by yacht.

The yacht trail, which sails around the coast of Jeju, is a stay-over maritime tourism content that allows visitors to travel around the entire island by yacht, using major harbors, ports, and marina hubs as bases.

At Yattreuteu, visitors can enjoy the ocean scenery, including coastal cliffs, Oreums (volcanic cones), Jusangjeolli cliffs, and surrounding islands, while looking at Jeju Island from the sea.

Along with leisure experiences, the province will develop themed courses such as sunset yachts, stopover tours reflecting regional characteristics, and accommodation, gourmet, and cultural programs linked to yacht experiences.

At major hub harbors and ports, regional resource linkage programs involving village councils, fishing village fraternities, and the local tourism industry—such as Haenyeo (women divers) culture experiences and fishing village gourmet experiences—will be operated to welcome visitors to the marine trail.

Jeju Province plans to determine the final target ports after consulting with experts and collecting opinions from local residents, and then proceed with the construction of berthing facilities. The province intends to develop and pilot one course in 2028 and gradually expand the courses thereafter.

The operation of the exploration experiences will be conducted by private yacht operators within the province.
