According to Yonhap News,

MCI Group, which is specialized in meeting, incentive, convention, and exhibition (MICE), will hold its general assembly in Jeju in the second half of this year.

Jeju Tourism Organization signed an MOU with MCI Group in Singapore on January 24th to cooperate in the MICE industry. The Organization said on February 8th that they have agreed to hold MCI Group’s general assembly where about 800 MCI Group employees and MICE experts will attend in Jeju.

Also, the Asia Pacific Division of MCI Group will transfer MICE marketing and consulting technologies, and provide programs to nurture human resources in the MICE industry which is the combination of MCI Group’s own education programs and the programs of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), an international MICE organization.

MCI Group general assembly will be held for the first time in Asia in Jeju, stoking expectations that it will significantly contributing to attracting tourists from Asia such as China, India, Japan and Australia.

MCI Group was established in Geneva, Swiss in 1987, and is a destination management company and professional convention organizer, leading the MICE industry with 44 branch offices in 22 countries around the world.
