Jeju products will be sold on home shopping channels of Indonesia.

 

Jeju Province said on April 7th that it would sign a memorandum of understanding with Lejel (CEO Jeong Sang-jin), which operates home shopping channels, door-to-door sales business, and satellite direct channels in Indonesia, to cooperate in the sales of Jeju products at Jeju Provincial Office on April 8th.

 

Lejel has agreed to sell and promote products, indigenous goods, and tour products of companies based in Jeju through home shopping channels in Indonesia, while Jeju Province has agreed to provide information regarding those products.

 

The MOU signing ceremony will gather CEO Jeong, former Minister of Marine Affairs & Fisheries, and an investment advisor to the Minister of Agriculture from Indonesia and Jeju Provincial Governor U Geun-min and a former secretary at Cheongwadae from Korea.

 

ECO Company (CEO Kim Man-sang), a cosmetics producer in Jeju, signed an agreement with Lejel for exclusive sales of cosmetic products made of Jeju tangerines in last February, and plans to export products worth USD 10 million by the end of this year.

 

Lejel posted the annual sales of KRW 100 billion last year and has 700 employees. It has a door-to-door sales company and four satellite direct channels in Indonesia.
