JDC, Selected to Hold the 7th ASPA Leaders Meeting

The seventh Asian Science Park Association (ASPA) Leaders Meeting will be held in Jeju next year.

 

The Jeju Free International City Development Center (JDC) said on April 26th that Jeju Province was selected as the venue for the seventh ASPA Leaders Meeting, which will be held next year, at the sixth ASPA Leaders Meeting in Taiwan on April 21st.

 

JDC is a member of Asian Science Park Association and has carried out aggressive promotional activities to make Jeju the venue for the seventh meeting.

 

The seventh ASPA Leaders Meeting will be held at Jeju Hi-tech Science Technology Complex in next April and serve as an opportunity for officials of Asian science parks and experts to discuss future strategies and directions for high-tech science complexes.

 

ASPA is a private international organization, established in 1997 for the common development of science technologies and industrial economy in Asia, and has 83 organizations of 13 countries as members.

 

The association has held an annual general congress and leaders meeting in order to present new paradigms for high-tech science complexes, which can contribute to developing Asia’s industrial economy, and exchange relevant experience and knowledge.
