According to Yonhap News,

Exchanges between Jeju and Heilongjang provinces is expected to increase.

Jeju province and Heilongjang province have agreed to cooperate on variuos areas including the economy, trade, science, education, culture, tourism and environment protection based on reciprocal equality.

They agreed to make efforts to sign a friendly city agreement while promoting exchanges in tourism, adolescent, and other sectors.

For promoting friendship with Heilongjang province, Jeju provincial officials attended the 22nd China Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair. The visit is also aimed at attracting investment through trade and cultural exchanges.

Heilongjang province decided to dispatch 5 delegates to International Adolescent Forum to be held in Jeju this October. Meanwhile, Jeju provincial officials met with CEOs of Jeju invested companies headquartered in Harbin, Hangzhou and Huang Dao, and asked them to expand investment in Jeju.
