Jeju Operates Logistics Centers in Busan and Pyeongtaek Ports

According to Yonhap News,

Jeju city said on August 16 that it will operate logistics centers in Busan and Pyeongtaek ports to reduce distribution costs and enhance marketing capability.

The city plans to lease existing logistics centers near Busan and Pyeongtaek ports, and operate them on consignment.

The logistics centers will enhance logistics competitiveness of the province. They will also make it easier for Jeju to supply raw material and ship goods to nearby big cities.

Jeju expects that logistics center can reduce distribution costs by about 30% on an annual basis.
