Jeju Concluded Cooperation Agreement to Support Export Companies

According to Yonhap News,

On February 29, eight institutions from industrial, academic and governmental arenas signed a cooperation agreement to enhance competitiveness of export companies in preparation for FTAs.

The eight institutions including the Jeju Chamber of Commerce and Industry concluded the cooperation agreement to support export companies, utilizing the advantage of FTAs.

The eight institutions participated in the signing ceremony: four institutions representing the business sector including the Jeju Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Jeju Office of Korea Trade Association; two institutions representing the academic sector including the Jeju Development Research Institute and the Department of Trade at Jeju National University; two institutions representing the government including Jeju Export Promotion Agency and Jeju Customs.

They have agreed to conduct joint study on how to utilize FTAs in a positive manner and cooperate to deal with problems that could be found in FTA customs procedures
