According to Yonhap News,

Starting from its participation in the Tokyo Food Fair, Jeju will aggressively engage in overseas marketing of its indigenous products.

Jeju's 27 companies are scheduled to participate in the Tokyo Food Fair to be held from tomorrow for four days. They will demonstrate about 100 products including functional beverage, tangerine juice, lava seawater salt and fishery products.

Jeju will hold a large sushi tasting event to give its local companies an opportunity to talk with representatives of Japanese large retailers such as Aeon Group, Osaka Supermarket and Tokyo Store.

The Tokyo Food Fair is the world's third largest food and beverage event and the largest one in Asia and Pacific Rim. This year, the event is expected to draw about 2,500 companies from 70 countries.

Jeju will also make its local companies participate in eight international exhibitions including the Vietnam Expo, China Export Fair and Hong Kong Beauty Product Fair.

It also plans to send a trade delegation consisting of ten SMEs to Russia's Saint Petersburg, Kazakhstan's Almaty and Uzbekistan's Tashkent from June 26 to July 4, in order to promote its indigenous products and advance into the overseas markets.

It will dispatch trade delegations to the Southeast Asia and China in June and October, respectively, and organize two export seminars inviting foreign buyers to facilitate exports for its products in October and November.

Jeju will support half of the expense for booth rental, one-way flight ticket and interpretation for a representative of a participating company and provide the full-expense for companies included in the delegation. It will also support the full-expense for booth rental, interpretation and round-trip tickets for foreign buyers who are invited by companies participating in the export seminar.
