According to Yonhap News,

The center for researching and processing food and inspecting quality will be established in Jeju Techno Park.

Jeju will inject a total of 700 million won into building the center, which is designed to improve safety and added value of Jeju's agricultural and fishery products. Jeju and Jeju Techno Park will be responsible for 500 million won and 200 million won, respectively.

The center, to be equipped with processing and inspection equipments including vacuum dryer and heavy metal analyzer and necessary human resources, will provide relevant companies with customized services.

It will also facilitate the food industry and increase added value of agricultural and fishery products by developing diverse products through the research on processing of food ingredients.
