According to Yonhap News,

Bahrain's Riyada Consulting demonstrated its willingness to invest in Jeju's medical tourism industry.

Jeju Governor U Geun-min signed an MOU with the representative of Riyada Consulting Princess Al Khalifa to cooperate in implementing the Clean & Clinic Resort Project.

The signing ceremony drew Governor U, President of Jeju Tourism Organization Yang Yeong-geun, Princess Al Khalifa and Riyada Korea CEO Jeong Sang-uk.

The Jeju Tourism Organization participates in the Jeju-Riyada Consortium Project as a partner.

Reportedly, Riyada Consulting has been trying to find ways to invest in Jeju via its branch in Seoul.

Riyada Group is Bahrain's major company that makes an annual profit of more than $1 billion from its various business sectors, including oil and gas exploration, investment and consulting, in the Middle East, North Africa, Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Princess Al Khalifa will visit Jeju in June in a response to Governor U's visit to Bahrain.
