According to Yonhap News,

A cosmetics factory in the bio convergence center of Jeju Technopark has been granted the certificate for the Cosmetics Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) by the Korea Food & Drug Administration, according to Jeju Technopark.

The CGMP certificate system was introduced last March in a bid to keep up with the global standard for strengthening the quality of Korean products and national competitiveness.

Jeju Technopark assigned Skin Cure, a cosmetics manufacturer and exporter, to operate the factory.

Skin Cure plans to expand exports of the manufactured cosmetics not only to Japan, Singapore and Thailand but to Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and China.
