According to Yonhap News,

Jeju Special-Governing Provincial Tourism Association signed a cooperation agreement with Hualian Tourism Association Monday on Monday in Taiwan to launch customized business marketing.

Both sides agreed to increase the number of direct flights between Jeju and Hualian, establish networks to promote sustainable development of their tourism industry and share information on the current tourism market and statistics of tourists.

The two associations established sisterhood relationship in 1979.
