The Jeju Declaration covers development of a global environment capital evaluation and verification system, establishment of a comprehensive management system for UNESCO protected areas in Jeju, support for conservation and facilitation of the Jeju Gotjawal and sustainability of Jeju haeneo or women drivers.

Jeju organized an executive broad and advisory board for Jeju Declaration implementation in March and formulated a comprehensive plan. Jeju and IUCN are negotiating for global cooperative measures.
