JEJU-DO < invest Korea

(JEJU=NEWSIS) Jeju City will invest KRW 710 million in the ICT sector in 2015, a 54 percent increase than that of last year.

According to the city on January 23, it will invest KRW 500 million in enhancing the ICT facilities including changing outdated network devices and improving the uninterruptible Power Supply system.

Also, the city will invest KRW 150 million to implement digital video broadcasting system to provide high-definition video services and KRW 60 million in the establishment of a system that can distribute the city’s PR videos via internet and mobile phones.

Jeju will expand the number of free wifi zones to 550 by 2017.
