(JEJU=NEWSIS) The Jeju Special Self-Governing Province announced February 13 that it will strategically attract five companies in IT, BT and CT and one training institute, which will greatly contribute to the regional economy.

The province will provide investment incentives including subsidies for location and equipment investment to the relocated companies and support them to settle in Jeju.

The province will also support telemarketing service and ICT companies by providing lease, employment and education training incentives.

As of the end of 2014, 56 companies have relocated to Jeju, creating 2,539 new jobs.
