Jeju Holds Korea-Spain Maritime Forum 2015

According to Yonhap News,

(BUSAN=Yonhap News) The Korea Maritime Institute (KMI) announced May 26 that the Korea-Spain Maritime Forum 2015 will be held in Jeju on May 27.

Jointly held by the KMI and the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), the Korea-Spain Maritime Forum 2015 is the second forum following the first one in Las Palmas in last July. The forum will provide an opportunity to find joint projects between Korea and Las Palmas in the maritime and fisheries sector.

The forum will comprise a special round-table meeting, a  main session, special session and discussion session.

The Jeju Special Self-Governing Provincial Council, Las Palmas City, Jeju National University, the ULPGC and the KMI will sign a memorandum of understanding at the forum to strengthen cooperation in the maritime and fisheries sector, promote human resource exchanges and share and exchange information and research document on the maritime and fisheries sector.
