(JEJU=NEWSIS) Ssangbangwool Inc., the leading underwear manufacturer in Korea, and China’s Jeshing Group signed a memorandum of understanding to build a large-scale resort in Jeju Island.

According to Ssangbangwool on September 16, the two companies will soon establish a special purpose company (SPC) in Jeju.

The SPC will build a large-scale luxurious resort to provide eco-friendly activities to the Chinese upper class.

Jeshing Group will invest KRW 1.8 trillion in Jeju for the high investment value of the Island.
