While the current Act prohibits from offering a disposable product free of charge to control the use of disposable products, the controlling effect of waste generation is not high because it is not only limited to reduce the usage of disposable products, but also difficult to classify and recycle waste after collection.
Therefore, this amendment aims to help preserve the environment by requiring business operators to use or offer only disposable products made of biodegradable resin (which is degraded by microorganisms) (Article 9 (4), Article 10 and Article 41).

- Require business operators to indicate the packing method and the quality of packing materials on the surface of packing (Article 9 (4))
- Require a business operator who intends to use or offer disposable products to use or offer only disposable products made of biodegradable resin (Article 10)
