‘Busan Science Technology Promotion Center’ to Open in April 4th

According to Yonhap News,

 

Busan City and Busan Techno Park said on March 30th that it would hold an opening ceremony of ‘Busan Science Technology Promotion Center’ which will play a pivotal role in advancing and promoting science technologies in Busan.

 

The opening ceremony will be held at the conference room on the second floor of ‘Busan Science Technology Promotion Center’ within Busan Techno Park, Jisa-dong, Gangseo-gu, Busan, and gather about 300 attendees including Busan Mayor Heo Nam-sik, regional law makers, and CEOs of companies.

 

Around KRW 30 billion of state, municipal and private capital was injected in building ‘Busan Science Technology Promotion Center’ which has one story below and nine stories above the ground and the total area of 12,588㎡.

 

The Center has 17 R&D places for small- and mid-sized venture companies, basic and convenience facilities for people-to-people exchange in the R&D sector, and guest houses and restaurants for technologists, etc.

 

Busan Techno Park has worked to get Busan Science Research Complex designated by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and to foster Local Science Research Complex since 2006 as part of its effort to open ‘Busan Science Technology Promotion Center,’” and added “we expect ‘Busan Science Technology Promotion Center’ will be developed into the heart of meeting and exchange among scientists and technologists.”
