According to Yonhap News,

Exports of agro-fishery products increased dramatically in the first half of 2011 in Busan.

According to Korea Agro-Fisheries Trade Corporation(AT), exports of agro-fishery products in Busan amounted to USD 534 million, an increase of 27% compared with the first half of last year.

By item, exports of fishery, agricultural, and forest products rose by 26%, 38%, and 64%, respectively.

Among fishery products, exports of cod(274％), chub mackerel(186％), sea weed(135％) showed an marked increase. USD 192 million worth of tuna were exported in the first half.

President of the Busan and Ulsan branch said that AT is supporting companies to pioneer overseas market, and will help exporters to achieve its export target of USD 1.1 billion.
