According to Yonhap News,

Agricultural Technology Center of Busan Metropolitan City and Medi-Farm Industrialization Center of Dong-A University signed a MOU on August 14.

Under the MOU, the two centers will cooperate on research of functional foods using tomatoes. Technology transfer, consultations and exchanges of equipment and spaces for research will also be made under the agreement.

They will also cooperate on establishing network, promoting and marketing functional foods.

The head of Agricultural Technology Center said that the MOU will boost the revenues of farmers and help the establishment of a close network among producers, research centers and local food makers.
