According to Yonhap News,

Busan and Gyeongnam Customs said on August 22 that trade surplus in Busan amounted to USD 260 million in July.

With increasing exports of heavy and chemical industries products and decreasing imports since March, the trade surplus in Busan hit a record high for the year in July, 36% increase year-on-year.

Exports of automobiles and parts, machinery, and electronic goods rose by 152%, 68%, and 51.4%, respectively. Imports of electronic products, pork, garlic and coals showed a distinct increase.

The customs said that the amount of imports rose by 27% compared with the same period last year.
