A series of international events will be held in Busan in the second half of 2011.

Starting from IT EXPO Busan on September 29, International Footwear and Textile Fashion Week(BIFOT 2011) and Busan Marine Week will be held in October. The 10th World Korean Business Convention will open in November in BEXCO.

IT EXPO Busan is an exhibition that showcases cutting-edge technologies in information technology, communications broadcasting equipment, software, contents, solution, IT convergence sectors. It will run from September 29 to October 1. 200 businesses from home and abroad will participate.

International Footware and Textile Fashion Week will be held from October 13 to 15 in BEXCO. Busan Marine Week will run from October 26 to 29 with 1,280 companies from 45 countries in attendance. Cutting-edge technologies and products from marine, logistics, defense industries will be on display.

World Korean Business Convention will be held from November 2 to 4. About 3,300 Korean businessmen will take part in the convention, which is the second meeting since 2007 in Busan.

Busan city plans to increase promotional activities for successful hosting of international events.
