According to Yonhap News,

Busan City said it will participate in the 2012 Cruise Shipping Miami, the largest cruise exhibition in the world, to attract an international cruise event to the city.

The Cruise Shipping Miami is scheduled to be held at the Miami Beach Convention Center from March 12 to 15 with about 12,000 people from 120 countries attending.

Busan will send a delegation led by Lee Yeong-hwal, deputy chief of Economy Department of Busan along with Busan Port Authority staffs.

Busan will operate a Korea promotion booth in partnership with Korea Tourism Corporation and Incheon City to meet cruise shipping companies from all around the world.

It will also hold a press briefing to explain about current industrial condition of Busan Port and its growth potential at a conference room in the Miami Convention Center.

During the exhibition, Busan plans to organize a seminar to promote tourism attractions of Busan and excellent infrastructures of Busan Port to representatives of major foreign shipping companies.

"The exhibition will be a good opportunity for us to enhance Busan's profile as a major cruise tourism attraction and establish a network with cruise shipping companies," said a Busan official.
