According to Yonhap News,

The Korean Ophthalmological Society (KOS) is scheduled to organize the 27th Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) at Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO).

The seminar, to be simultaneously held with the European Society of Ophthalmology, will attract 5,500 participants from 65 countries.

Tom Roberts, a researcher of Vision Eye Institute from University of Sydney, and Kohji NISHIDA from Osaka Medical College will make a presentation about The Outlook on Cataract Surgery in Asia and Pacific Region and The Corneal Stem Cell Transplantation, respectively.

Gwak Hyeong-u from the KOS said, "The seminar will be a good opportunity not only to know the global ophthalmological trend but also to promote our cutting-edge medical technology."
