According to Yonhap News,
Busan Bank Chairman Seong Se-hwan and Korea Register of Shipping President Oh Gong-gyun signed a cooperative agreement to facilitate the local economy at the headquarter of Busan Bank.
The agreement is designed to strengthen cooperation between Korea Register of Shipping, which relocated its headquarter from Daejeon to Busan, and Busan Bank, Busan's representative financial institution, to increase their contribution to the society.
They have agreed to join their strengths in creating jobs, pursuing coexistence with partner companies, finding new growth engines, supporting the green growth industry and taking care of the socially marginalized.
"We expect the cooperation to contribute to job creation, coexistence
and social corporate responsibility, which will boost the current sluggish regional
economy," said Chairman Seong.
