According to Yonhap News,
Busan Global Forum is established last Thursday to contribute to Busan's economic and cultural development and provide a new vision of Busan's urban development.
The forum, comprised of 72 professors and researchers and 50 Busan business leaders, had a general meeting on the day to celebrate its establishment and held an international seminar on "Busan New International Airport."
The members of the forum will be tasked with providing various development strategies in economy, social and cultural sectors to strengthen Busan's status as the world's top 5 port city.
Several experts presented "Economic Benefits of Airport" and "Exemplary Case of Japan's Offshore Airport" during the seminar.
And then they had discussion on potential benefits of an offshore airport including reduction of construction period and expenses.
