The Korean National Commission for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) will hold the 2nd World Humanities Forum at Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO) from next Thursday to Saturday.
The forum, co-organized by the UNESCO, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and Busan City, will be held under the theme of "Healing Humanities."
Scholars who have in-depth knowledge in philosophy, history, literature and humanities will discuss how to heal pains of individuals and societies in the post-Cold War era.
Professor of Paris Descartes Michel Maffesoli, Professor of the University of North Carolina Konrad H. Jarausch and Director of Global Academy of Future Civilizations of Kyung Hee University Kim Yeo-su will deliver keynote speeches.
