According to Yonhap News,

Busan-si (City) teams up with Fukuoka City, Japan to launch a joint tourism promotion campaign today in Hong Kong for two days.

In line with the Busan-Fukuoka Asia Gateway project, the promotion is designed to integrate both cities into a single tourism block to attract Chinese tourists.

Busan's side is comprised of six officials, responsible for visiting Hong Kong's large travel agencies to promote Busan's tourism products.

Their mission begins with visiting Hong Kong Wing, one of the six major travel agencies in Hong Kong. Then, they have a meeting with the chief of Hong Kong division of the Korea Tourism Organization to discuss how to enhance Busan's image and lure tourists.

The Busan officials are scheduled to meet representatives of the tourism bureau of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region tomorrow to confirm the importance of strengthening cooperation and exchange between Busan and Hong Kong.

After the meeting, they will invite representatives of Hong Kong's major travel agencies and media to hold a tourism seminar, co-organized by Busan and Fukuoka.
