KITA to Send Delegation Group Consisting of SMES in Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongsangnam-do

According to Yonhap News,

Busan division of Korea International Trade Association (KITA) will dispatch a trade delegation comprised of small-and-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongsangnam-do (Province) in commemoration of the third anniversary of the effectuation of the Korea-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).

The delegation is designed to support the entry of regional SMEs that engages in shipbuilding, plant, automobile and machinery component, construction equipment and electronic device industries into India.

The delegation will visit India’s largest commercial cities of Mumbai and New Delhi to hold export seminars from April 22 to 27.

After the seminars, the KITA will conduct a feasibility test to select the best products.

The association will provide financial supports for booth and vehicle rental, interpretation and airfare for the selected ones.

India is a huge emerging market with the population of 1.2 billion. It is forecast to post a relatively high economic growth of 6 percent this year,” said a KITA official. “We will provide all possible supports to enable SMEs to make substantial achievements during their visit to India.”
