Busan announced that it will host the fifth International Exhibition on Energy Technology and Environment Hanoi 2013 (ENTECH Hanoi 2013) in Vietnam from May 29.

Around 50 Korean environment and energy companies and 74 booths participate in the event including 18 enterprises and 19 booths from Busan.

ENTECH Hanoi, which Busan first hosted since 2009, has become one of the five international exhibitions chosen by the Ministry of Strategy and Finance in 2013.

Invited Vietnamese buyers will be coming from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The fair is expected to draw around 100 companies or 210 booths from four countries.

Busan has invited major buyers by collaborating with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency and Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute. The city also established a close cooperation network with Busan branch in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi city and the Energy Conservation Center Hanoi to encourage public officials and purchase officers of public agencies to attend.

For active participation from Korean environment companies, Busan provided diverse support programs such as funding for logistics and interpretation to minimize the burden on participating enterprises.

Invitations and press release have been sent to around 70 Vietnamese media and a media zone will also be set up at the exhibition to provide efficient service for local media.

Suh Hye-suk, an official of Busan Environment & Green Zone Bureau stated that Busan has prepared various programs to provide business opportunities to participating companies as attracting participants and major buyers was the key to the success of the event.
